the difference of communication

The way we communicate

We, humans, have evolved over the years, and with this evolution, we have managed to make everything easier. From being incapable of recording videos or capturing pictures, each of us now has a portable device which can click pictures as well as make phone calls!

Our world is growing at an impeccable speed, however, with this transformation, we are leaving behind the essence of old yet memorable things. Wondering what? It’s the way we write our feelings down. Earlier, there were no text messages or WhatsApp groups. Every conversation used to happen either face to face or via a letter. Be it a pigeon or a postman, these things always played an important role in our lives. And it’s not shocking for us to see why the younger generation feels so attached to their devices!

Call it old fashioned, but even today people write down letters, diary entries, journals, etc. It’s not that they don’t have access to modern devices, the fact is that handwritten words mean a lot more than alphabets decorated on a sheet. It is said that your handwriting says a lot, as you write anything on paper one can judge the emotions going inside you! Don’t get shocked!

However, with this ‘techi’ world, the essence of writing letters or entries is vanishing. And soon, the world will forget how to convey their feelings! Texts are not and can never be the replacement of handwritten words. If you think they can be replaced then why do most of the population write down something special in a printed card? Why does a child learn how to write before learning how to type?

Even if we try making someone feel special with huge gifts and flowers, still a letter from his/her mother or a scroll from a loved one will be weighed more against anything. This generation does not realize what is it losing and leaving behind, and honestly, I personally believe that this generation if made aware can save the essence from leaving the world. So, let’s initiate towards this goal with JotJoy!
