Why Today is the day to start your Journal?

We all have a desire to start something new and soon but we never get to do it. Journal or diary writing is a popular one after healthy eating and gym. So, to help you convince your mind and finally get it to start writing, here are some reasons.

It makes you Better

Personally, I’ve delayed not only my writing but also a lot of other ideas until I finally started jotting them down along with a deadline to give a try in executing them. I got the inspiration from a desire to see my goals in front of me. And then I tried to make myself pen them down along with the progress I’m making daily. I recognized the power of desire and with it came a lust to write. Now, I see myself penning down every now and then while also executing many of those ideas.

For me, my journal has made me a better person. In a way, it’ll improve you as well when you start dedicating yourself to it.

You will ventilate yourself

Since it’s your very special and private box; you get to choose what you put in it.  From your thoughts about your crush to the fight you had at work, a journal can keep a lot of stuff in it. Not only ideas but also the thoughts that you want to share but not with the world.

Waiting too long to let your mind out can be dangerous and that’s a proven fact. So, even if you will never share your diary, it’ll still be a safe house where you can be yourself in the most genuine way. I’ve a habit of writing what I’m grateful for to relax my mind, you can choose to do something different. Some good examples can be: What to say to my younger self? | Who deserves to me in my life? | Why I reacted that way? and so on.

It’s productive in multiple way

Yes, of course, you are keeping a track of your tasks and ideas but a journal can also do a lot more. While Journaling you get to brain storm your brain and actually jot down some real progress. You also get to improve your communication with daily writing and thought penning into words. And these are just a few examples. From mind relaxing to never ending source of inspiration, the Journal can be more than a guide. The only thing that matters is how much dedication you show it.
